Volunteers Are Essential

Dedicated volunteers are essential to your local Friends of the Kensington – Normal Heights Library’s success.  It is a lot of fun and helps out your library enormously.  If you are interested in any of our volunteer opportunities, tell us which one and how you’d like to help – either occasionally or on a regular basis.  Some ways to get connected:

Help Process Book Donations For Sales

• Determine suitability, sort and shelve used books, CDs, DVDs and magazines for sale.
• Help at our Friends of the Kensington – Normal Heights Library book sale events.

Help with Outreach / Membership Drives

• Aid in mailings, attend events to encourage membership.
• Help with outreach and publicity.
• Get the word out to the community.

Help With Special Events

Such as our student essay contest.

Add your support to the committed, caring individuals who share a common vision of a first class, free public library in our neighborhood.
